Paula Abdul has quit American Idol. And she did it by tweeting.
Paula Tweeted this last night:
"With sadness in my heart, I've decided not to return to Idol. I'll miss nurturing all the new talent, but most of all being a part of a show that I helped from day 1 become an international phenomenon."
I have to say that I am saddened by this news. Paula Abdul was very good entertainment. Even though she was a bit whacky (or drunk), she was fun to watch. I think American Idol made a mistake when they brought Kara onto the show. I am willing to bet that had they not brought on boring Kara that Paula Abdul would never have quit. Straight up. We'll miss you Paula.
