Lindsey Vonn Sports Illustrated Cover - HOT!

Sports Illustrated has decided to put women's downhill skier Lindsey Vonn on the latest cover os Sports Illustrated. Heck, why not? Do you see how hot she is?

Lindsey Vonn is on the cover in a tuck, which by the way is a traditional and very frequently used skiing position. But this Sports Illustrated cover has angered some folks. People are saying that it sexualizes Lindsey Vonn and objectifies her. Yeah OK... so whats the problem? Lindsey Vonn obviously knew this when she agreed to do the Sports Illustrated cover in the first place. If she does not have a problem with taking advantage of her Hollywood good looks, why should anybody else give two craps about it?

Seriously, good for you Lindsey Vonn! Now go back this cover up with a gold medal at the Winter Olympics!

Here is a picture of the Sports Illustrated cover which hit newsstand yesterday.

  1. Were there other shots of this remarkable woman available to use on the SI cover? Because this one is just off-putting.

  2. This picture is unquestionably the most offensive photo I've ever seen on the cover of SI, and I'm disappointed to see them using sex to sell Olympic coverage. The spirit of the Games is not prostitution or preparing athletes for future careers as porn stars.

  3. I know SEX is supposed to sell

But does it have to be the ONLY WAY to sell things today?
