One of the most amazing musicians in history, Elvis Presley would have turned 75 today. The King was born January 8th, 1935. Elvis' birthday is being celebrated around the world, and so it should be.
In 1946, for his 11th birthday, Elvis Presley asked for a bicycle. Instead, his father bought him a guitar. And the rest as they say is history. Good call by Pops getting Elvis that guitar.
Elvis Presely sold more than a billion records and By his 21st birthday He changed the course of popular music forever. My iPod will be playing The King all day. And today's lunch, in honor of The King, will be fried peanut butter and banana sandwiches.
